Learn real french home cooking in a french home in the heart of the Loire Valley. Natacha will teach you local recipes that you will easily be able to prepare back home. In my kitchen, no complicated recipes needing professional expertise and tools: simple recipes for everyday meals or entertaining friends, than you can serve which you can serve in a family dish or on a plate for a more sophisticated look (with little tricks and secrets I will teach you).

Learn how to prepare authentic french dishes. Menus are prepared according to your liking and cooking classes adjust to your cooking skills. Discover secrets of french homemade cooking with fresh and local ingredients according to the season. Our region is renowned for its production of apples, asparagus, strawberries and goat's cheeses, among others. We can also offer vegetarian and/or gluten-free recipes. After each class, the detailled recipes we prepared together will be sent to you.

Located between the famous castles of Chambord and Chenonceau, Selles-sur-Cher is a lovely small town with a beautiful castle and a church to visit

A Unique culinary experience
The classes take place in my kitchen at home. Each group is very small in order for you to participate and each class is followed by a tasting of the food we made. Menus are arranged in advance with you according to your wishes, preferences, food allergies... Each course begins with a convivial moment over coffee to get to know each other better. Classes can be given in English or French. Private classes can be arranged upon request, as well as wine tasting with a sommelier or even complete lunch or take away (ask for more details and prices).

2 courses Pot-au-feu "à l'ancienne"- local poached pears in mild spices
Spring menu:
Green pea velouté goat cheese foam - mild spices lamb shanks and braised young carrots- strawberry tartelettes
Summer menu:
Quiche tomatoes and goat cheese - petite ratatouille - Roasted fresh apricots with rosemary from the garden
We are pleased to be working with:
A multi awarded local winery producing Terra Vitis label wines. Red, White and Rosé as well as sparkling wines of top-quality. The White Chenonceau has even been selected by the Elysée (our White House) sommelier to represent the appellation at the highest level of government. All wines can be bought at their store in the castle.
Our local cheese maker was created in 1947 by Adrienne the great grand mother of Romain, Guillaume and Josselin now in charge of the cheese production. It is a world champion exporting our awarded cheese in more than XX countries. You'll find all their products and much more (local wines, jams, honey...) in their store just around the corner from my house.
A castle for the whole family to discover. The Château has a thousand-year history, explore its medieval wing and Renaissance pavilion, and its interior courtyards, including a three-hundred-year-old cedar tree designated a Remarkable Tree of France.
On a 2 km forest trail, come and discover the Dashanpu dinosaur park, where you'll experience adventures among over 80 living monsters, some of which are animated.
